On days that the nuts and bolts of the mind and body come loose, stop and re-evaluate.
Some things are intrinsically important. Some are made so. Which is which, depends on who you are.
So remember who you are, as the weight of the world descends. There will always be heavy voices to drag you in different directions, so remember your anchor. If you lose it, well, then the day the nuts and bolts come loose, you’ll never come back together the same.
But if you hold fast, then at least when rearranged you’ll be able to say: Yes. That, there, is the Older Me.
